Will joined Ingenuity in 2005 as a trainee tester and quickly progressed through the ranks, becoming a lead tester and later a test team lead. Throughout his career, he has been instrumental in delivering a variety of projects, from large-scale commercial package developments to complex data migration initiatives. In 2017, Will successfully led a management buyout, taking on the role of Managing Director.

Under his leadership, Ingenuity has strengthened its technical capabilities, with a particular emphasis on expanding the research and development team to drive advancements in data migration and automation. Will's vision continues to guide Ingenuity as a leader in innovative testing solutions for the insurance industry.

Away from work, Will enjoys spending quality time with his family, playing guitar, and cheering on his favourite football team, Hereford FC.

Bill began his career in the insurance sector in 1990 as a Technical Assistant in the Development Department of East West Insurance Ltd, where he played a pivotal role in early testing initiatives, which included being closely involved in East West's pioneering adoption of EDI in 1991. His hands-on involvement in these transformative projects established a strong foundation for his future in insurance technology.

Bill co-founded Ingenuity System Testing Services Ltd with Simon Mills in 2001. Over the years, he developed innovative automation solutions using tools like Direct Technology's Automator QA and IBM's Rational Robot, enabling efficient testing of rates and validation.

As Technical Director, Bill has been instrumental in shaping Ingenuity's reputation for innovation and reliability. His expertise in automation and system testing continues to drive the company's evolution, ensuring it remains at the forefront of technology in the insurance industry.

Outside of work if Bill is not out on his sail boat, he will be most likely found singing and playing guitar with his band.

With over 15 years of experience as a ProductWriter consultant and seven years as the Managing Director of Line Contracts, George brings an unparalleled depth of ProductWriter expertise to the Ingenuity leadership team.

Throughout his career, George has been at the forefront of developing and maintaining complex insurance schemes in Motor, Household and Commercial lines. He is also an enrichment data specialist. His expertise navigates the technical intricacies of product delivery with precision. As a Director at Ingenuity, George focuses on driving innovation within our ProductWriter development workflows while mentoring the next generation of consultants.

When he isn't building schemes, George is a dedicated football fan. He spends his free time playing football, visiting football stadiums internationally and supporting West Bromwich Albion - a pastime that has certainly prepared him for the "ups and downs" of the fast-paced tech and insurance industries.

Sarah brings a unique blend of operational and technical expertise to the Ingenuity leadership team. With a career rooted in agency leadership, marketing, and client services within the highly regulated industry of Medical Communications and Pharmaceuticals, she has a proven track record of leadership and the management of complex projects.

After joining Line Contracts as Director of Operations in 2024, Sarah specialised as a ProductWriter consultant. Now, as a Director at Ingenuity, she balances fostering operational excellence with hands-on development and maintenance of insurance products across Motor, Household, and Commercial lines.

Outside of work, Sarah finds her balance through yoga or exploring the outdoors with her dog.

Matt joined Ingenuity in August 2000 as a trainee and has since brought his expertise to a variety of roles within the company. As a Lead Tester, he managed a diverse portfolio of clients and consistently delivered high-quality results across projects, including personal lines, commercial package developments, and complex software house migrations.

His exceptional performance led to a position in the Research and Development team, where he focused on internal test data mapping and data migrations. During this time, Matt played a pivotal role in developing Ingenuity's proprietary test script standard—a framework that remains a cornerstone of the company's testing processes today.

In 2017, Matt's extensive experience and dedication made him a natural choice to join the management buyout team, transitioning into his current role as Account Director. With a strong client-focused approach, Matt is committed to delivering exceptional service and innovative solutions tailored to the unique needs of each client.

Outside of work, Matt enjoys playing tennis, exploring the world of movies and cinema, and indulging his passion for motorbikes.

Tom joined Ingenuity in 2007 from EE where he had been part of their financial team. Following a successful tenure as a test team lead, he became Head of Testing in 2017. His meticulous and process-driven approach has been instrumental in creating a robust framework for our testing teams, ensuring consistency and excellence in the client experience.

Tom has contributed to a wide range of projects, with particular expertise in commercial developments where his dedication and immense work ethic have consistently delivered outstanding results.

Outside of work, Tom enjoys spending time with his young family, pursuing his passion for snowboarding, and playing golf.

Mo began his software development career in Kent immediately after University, specialising in Java and SQL. Since 2007, he has honed his expertise, particularly in developing advanced reporting solutions. In 2015, Mo moved to Bristol to take on the role of Lead Reporting Developer, further solidifying his reputation as a specialist in his field.

Joining Ingenuity in 2018, Mo initially focused on modernising legacy mapping and automation systems, transitioning them to scalable open-source solutions. His success in these initiatives led to his promotion to Lead Developer in 2019. Now, as Head of Software Development, Mo oversees the architecture and technology of Ingenuity's key projects. One of his most significant achievements has been rewriting and modernising Ingenuity's internal test data mapping solution, a critical tool for ensuring the efficiency and accuracy of testing processes.

Outside of work, Mo enjoys online gaming with friends and exploring new destinations through road trips.

Alex began his career with Ingenuity in 2017 during a work experience placement, which led to summer roles in 2018 and 2019 while studying cyber security. After joining Ingenuity full-time during the COVID-19 pandemic, he transitioned to the Open University to complete his Computer Science degree.

Starting as a Junior Developer in 2020 and later advancing to Software Developer, Alex was appointed Head of New Technologies in 2025. In this role, he focuses on innovation in software automation, web technologies, artificial intelligence, and cyber security.

Outside of work, Alex enjoys photography and flying drones.
